The selection process for “The Dhruv Ratan Award”

Nomination/Submission: The selection process usually begins with a call for nominations or submissions. Individuals, organizations, or projects that meet the eligibility criteria are invited to apply or be nominated for the award. This can be open to the public or limited to specific groups or industry professionals.

Application/Documentation: Nominees or applicants are typically required to provide supporting documentation that showcases their qualifications, achievements, or contributions relevant to the award’s criteria. This may include written applications, portfolios, case studies, testimonials, or other relevant materials.

Evaluation and Review: The submitted nominations or applications are thoroughly evaluated and reviewed by a selection committee or judging panel. The composition of the committee may vary but often includes experts or professionals in the relevant field or industry. They assess the submissions based on the award’s criteria and determine the finalists or winners.

Judging Criteria: The judging criteria typically align with the objectives and purpose of the award. The committee may consider factors such as excellence, innovation, impact, leadership, sustainability, and any other specific requirements outlined by the award.

Shortlisting and Finalists: Based on the evaluation process, a shortlist of finalists is determined. These finalists are often notified and may be required to provide additional information, participate in interviews, or present their work to the judging panel.

Selection of Winners: The final selection of award winners is made by the judging panel or committee, typically after thorough deliberation and consideration of the finalists. The winners are announced and recognized at an award ceremony or through other formal channels.

Award Presentation: The award presentation ceremony is a significant event where the winners are publicly acknowledged, often in the presence of industry peers, media, and distinguished guests. The award trophy, certificate, or other forms of recognition are presented to the winners.
